William III (1694-1702), Sixpence, 1696B, Bristol Mint, B altered from E, first laureate and draped bust right, B below bust altered from an E, rev large crowned cruciform emblematic shields, lion of Nassau at centre, early harp, date either side of English shield, edge grained (ESC.1535A; S.3521).

Light, slightly uneven tone, haymarking both sides, otherwise a bold very fine and rare.
