Description
Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1850, type A4, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, date below, no initials, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath, emblems below, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3888; Bull. 2733; ESC.684).
Unevenly toned with some surface markings, excellent detail both sides, no apparent softness in the strike. Extremely fine, scarce.
