Gold Solidus, mint of Constantinople, AD 368.

Obverse: DN VALENS P F AVG, diademed and mantled bust of Valens facing left, his hand raised holding globe.
Reverse: VOTA PV-BLICA, two emperors seated facing on a double-throne, both holding mappa and sceptre, bound captives either side, *CONS and wreath in exergue.
