Scotland, William II (1694-1702), Silver Forty-Shillings, 1699, laureate and draped bust left, value below truncation, rev crowned and quartered shield of arms, bearing an escutcheon of the arms of Hanover, date above in legend, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated VNDECIMO (S.5684).

Toned, typical adjustment marks to hair of portrait and reverse crown, small metal flaw to reverse legend, otherwise very fine.
