Scotland, Charles II (1649-1685), Silver Half-Merk, 1672, First Coinage, Type II, laureate and draped bust right in armour, straight ribbons behind head, thistle with leaves below bust, rev inverted die axis, cruciform shields, crowned interlinked Cs in angles, value at centre, date in legend (SCBI 35:1602-4; S.5614).
Toned, good very fine.
