Bust left of new style slightly breaking inner circle, mark of value behind, reads CAROLVS DG MAG BRIT FRAN & HIB REX. Rev, crowned flat topped shield, crowned C and R either side, legend surrounds QVAE DEVS CONIVNXIT NEMO SEPARET, 5.95gm (S. 5564). About Extremely Fine, edge a little ragged at 3 o’clock, toned.
