Richard III (1483-85), Groat, type 2b. London Mint facing crowned bust in double tressure of nine arcs, fleurs on cusps, initial mark boars head 1, legend surrounds RICARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. Rev, long cross pattée, tri-pellets in each inner angle, double concentric legends with beaded inner and outer circles surrounding, initial mark boars head 2, inner legend CIVI TAS LONDON, outer legend surrounding, POSVI DEVM A DIVTOR E MEVM, 2.52g (S.2156; N.1679).
