Low Countries, gold Noble, in imitation of an English noble of Henry VI (1461-70), the king standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, obverse legend mostly blundered, ( )E SI( )ENS DIO ( ). Rev. Floreate cross within polylobe, crowned leopards in angles, h in centre, ËihЄ AVTEM TRANSIENS PER MEDIV’ ILLORVM IBAT, 6.29g (cf. S. 1801; cf. Schneider 837-8; Gamberini -).

Lightly creased, spade-mark on ship, some double striking in legend above head, otherwise good very fine; unpublished and apparently unique.
