Islands off Caria, Kos (c. c. 345‑340/30 BC) AR Tetradrachm, Philodamas, magistrate, 14.85g. Bearded head of Herakles right, wearing a lionskin headdress. Rev. ΦIΛOΔAM[AΣ], veiled female head left. (Stefanaki, Kos I, Series VI, 12th Emission, Group B, 512; Pixodarus 20c (this coin); HGC 6, 1303). Very Fine. Pleasing tone. Some scratches.
