Indian Mutiny Medal, 1857-58, no clasp, awarded to Sepoy Jhurn Singh 7th (late 47th) Regiment Native Infantry; (Sepoy Jhurn Singh 7th (late 47th) Regt N.I.), named in running script lightly toned very fine one or two minor edge knocks to obverse at 11 and 2.
Only 66 Medals without clasp to the 7th (late 47th) Regiment Native Infantry. The Regiment received the medal without clasp for the actions at Gowrah near Allahabad in June 1857, and at Pallee near Mirzapore in July 1857, Sold with a copy of an “Extract – Fort William, Military Proceedings for April 1864, listing all 66 recipients (including Jhurn Singh).
