India General Service Medal 1908-35, one clasp, Afghanistan NWF 1919, awarded to Risaldar Sarab Singh, 21st Cavalry, – (Risldr. Sarab Singh. 21 Cavy), slightly wobbly suspender, light contact marks otherwise very fine.
Sarab Sigh entered service 10th November 1907, commissioned Jemadar 29th October 1914, Woordie-Major, Ressaidar 27th November 1919, Risaldar 1st April 1921, He Qualified at the School of Musketry, Qualified in the Hotchkiss Gun, Army Veterinary School Certificate and Certificate in English, Risaldar Sarab Singh served in Mesopotamia during WWI, in Afghanistan on the North West Frontier from May to Sept 1919 and then in Waziristan from Oct 19 to May 21. On the 1st January 1936 he was awarded the Order of British India, 2nd Class, at which time he was Honorary Risaldar Major.
