Hampshire, PETERSFIELD / NEW YORK, Kempson’s mule AE Halfpenny, 1794. Stork standing, rev. Liberty standing by bale holding cap of liberty, edge ‘Payable in London’, rest engrailed. (DH 52a) Uncirculated, striking crack in flan, beautiful rainbow iridescence to considerable amount of lustre. Very Rare.

Ex. Siegfied Schwer c.1982.

The reverse die was first used for a one cent token of Talbot, Allum and Lee of New York, USA.
