George II (1727-1760) Sixpence, 1728, young laureate and draped bust facing left, toothed border both sides. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, garter Star at centre, roses and plumes in angles, date either side of crown, milled edge (ESC. 1606; Bull. 1740; S.3707).
