George I (1714-27), Shilling, 1718, first laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned shields, garter star at centre, roses and plumes in angles, edge milled (ESC.1165; S.3645).

Attractive cabinet tone, a few very light obverse marks and hairlines, and reverse dig to edge at 6 o’clock, otherwise extremely fine.
