Eadmund (939-946), Penny, two line type, Moneyer Ingelgar, cross pattee with linear circle surrounding, legend around +EADMVND REX.’’. legend ends with two horizontal opposing crescents with pellet either side, linear and beaded border surrounding both sides, rev Moneyer name in two lines divided by three horizontal crosses, tri-pellets above and below, INGEL / GAR M-O, 1.24g (N.688; S.1105).

Toned, rim chipped, a bold very fine. The moneyer name Ingelgar not listed by North for Eadmund but more usually for Eadred (946-955).
