Charles II (1660-85), Farthing, 1672, short haired laureate and cuirassed bust left, no obverse stops, CAROLVS A CAROLO, rev Britannia seated on globe with spear, shield and spray of leaves, date below in exergue (Peck 520; S.3394).

Toned, small flan flaw below chin of portrait and hairline die flaw from throat through hair, otherwise a bold very fine with a hint of lustre and rare.
