Description
Charles II (1660‑1685), Crown, 1679, edge TRICESIMO PRIMO, third laureate and draped bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, (ESC 56; Bull 403; S.3358). Choice extremely fine or better, about as struck. Portrait strongly struck and far better than usual. Darkly toned with only slightest of weight adjustment on the reverse.
