Charles II (1660‑85), Crown, 1677/6, edge VICESIMO NONO, third laureate and draped bust right. Rev, crowned cruciform shields interlinked Cs in angles, garter star at centre, eight strings to Irish harp, date flanking top crown, (S.3358; Bull.399; ESC.53). Good very fine or better toned, hair detail better than usual. Slight weight adjustment on reverse.
