Description

Charles II (1660-85), Guinea, 1676, fourth laureate head right, legend and surrounding CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, four interlinked Cs in a stylised monogram at centre, date flanking top crown, legend reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX, edge diagonally grained (S.3344; MCE.74).

Good extremely fine, retaining much of its original mint brilliance.
