Charles I (1625-1649), Silver Halfcrown, York mint (1643-1644), type 7, King on horseback left with upright sword, tail between horse’s legs, EBOR below, initial mark lion both sides, rev crowned oval quartered shield of arms within lion skin garniture, wt. 15.25gms. (Brooker 1087; N 2315; S 2869). Good very fine to near extremely fine.
