Augustus (27 BC – AD 14).

Silver Denarius, mint of Lugdunum, 7-6 BC.

Obverse: [CAESAR AV]GVSTVS DIVI F PATER PATRIAE, laureate head right.
Reverse: AVGVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC IVVENT, Gaius and Lucius Caesars, standing facing, each holding a spear and a shield between them, above, simpulum and lituus left, C L CAESARES in exergue.
