Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander the Great (336-323 BC).

Silver Tetradrachm, posthumous issue struck under Kassander, as regent, mint of Amphipolis, c. 307-297 BC.

Obverse: Head of Herakles, with the features of Alexander (?) facing right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Reverse: Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre, vertical trident in left field, A above pellet below throne.
