Aethelred II (978-1016), Penny, last small cross type (c.1009-1017), Hereford Mint, Moneyer Leofmaer, diademed and draped bust left within linear circle, legend surrounding commences at top, +ÆÐELRED REX ANG, rev cross pattée, linear circle surrounding, +LVMARH ON HERE, 1.55g (BMC type I; N.777; S.1154).

Weak on portrait and double struck obverse legend, with dark uneven tone, good fine / very fine and very rare.
